Your instructor signs your certificate once you land.
This is the same hour every one of our students begins with — though it is not a lesson. The instructor is Pilot-in-Command throughout and your friend is a passenger with their hands on the controls, which is exactly why anyone can do it. If they decide to carry on, the fee becomes tuition credit and the path below opens.
One hour, hands on the yoke, a CAAP-certified instructor beside them. They walk out with a Certificate of First Flight in their name, and the fee is credited toward tuition if they enrol.

Then the ₱20,000 stops being a gift and becomes the first payment of their training — we credit it against tuition when they enrol on the PPL, CPL or Cadet Pilot Program. Flight time only begins counting toward a licence once they hold a Student Pilot Licence and a medical, so this hour is the try, not the first lesson.
One thing, and we would rather say it now than surprise anyone at the hangar. Our flight rates track Philippine aviation fuel prices. If avgas has moved materially by the time your friend books, a proportionate fuel surcharge may apply — always shown before they confirm, never after. The voucher covers the flight itself; a surcharge, if there ever is one, is only the fuel difference.
None. The instructor is always Pilot-in-Command, so a child of any age can sit up front and take the controls — we only need a parent or guardian's consent, captured in the online booking. Age limits apply to flying solo, not to a first flight.
No — and you cannot, deliberately. The voucher is open-dated and it does not expire, so nothing is booked until they choose a day themselves. You paid for it; it does not evaporate.
Yes. The voucher is transferable, so the name on the payment does not have to be the name that flies. Leave their email blank if you would rather hand it over in person.
About a week is comfortable. They enter the code at the Discovery Flight page, pick a slot, and we confirm. We have fitted people in the same day when the weather and the aircraft allowed it.
Up to three passengers on the same booking, at the same price — so this can be a gift to a person or to a family. Spectators at the hangar pay nothing.
